What is the Tourism Service Excellence Awards?
The Tourism Excellence Awards (TSEA) is geared towards promoting service excellence within Jamaica’s tourism industry. It adheres to the guidance given in the Tourism Master Plan for Sustainable Development to recognize the sub-sector workforce as a vital part of the product, which helps to make Jamaica a destination of choice for visitors.
Executed by the Tourism Product Development Company Ltd. (TPDCo.) since 2008, it ensures that consistent and exceptional customer service within the sector is showcased and rewarded. It is with great pride that the TPDCo boasts of recognizing nearly one hundred and fifty (150) finalists across five (5) subsectors since the inception of The Awards.
The 2019 staging of the TSEA will be held on Saturday March 14, 2020 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.
The Tourism Service Excellence Awards focuses on two main categories that have been carefully selected to highlight how service in Tourism & Hospitality Industry can create significant economic, environmental, social and cultural benefits. We welcome entries from all tourism businesses and employees – destinations, resorts, individual hotels and niche enterprises.
Nominations will be considered from the following categories:
Accommodation Staff | Craft Trader | Airport Staff | Tour Operator | Ground Transportation Operator
Raft Captain | Attraction Employee | Watersport Employee
Nominations will be considered from the following fields:
Accommodation (properties including hotels, villas, apartments & guest houses)
Attractions and Places of Interest (business entities)| Ground Transportation (business entities)
Tour Operator (business entities) | Watersports Operator (business entities)
