Kimiela “Candy” Isaacs is a visionary force who defies stereotypes, proving that disability is never a hindrance to greatness. Hailing from Seaview Garden, St. Andrew. Candy embarked on her musical journey remarkably early, showcasing amazing clarity and passion from just 10 months old. She holds a degree in Jazz and Popular Music Studies from Edna Manley College and recently received an honorary doctoral degree in sacred music from One We International Theological Seminary (OWITS)
Candy won many medals and trophies from her performances and compositions in the JCDC Festival Competitions. She came 2nd place winner in JCDC’s Gospel Song Competition, Top 10 Finalists in Jamaica Festival Song 2021. Winner of the Jamaica Festival Song Competition held in July of 2024.
