Known for its busy cruise ship port and Georgian architecture, this capital town of Trelawny, namely Falmouth, is located between two tourist resort areas of Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. The town, also famous for its rich and unique heritage, is characterized by its Georgian style architecture that has been around since the 1700s as well as its Sugar Rum and Emancipator William Knibb.

This busy coastal town is perfect for walking tours, as visitors are able to learn about the town's history and heritage through its many relics; one historical building is the Falmouth Court house, which still has a sitting judge who presides over cases. This bright high rise yellow building is a stone throw from Jamaica's newest cruise facility, Port of Falmouth, and can't be missed!

Other popular areas include the Cruise Ship Pier for its many Jamaican offerings, such as craft, foods and souvenir items as well as the Baptist Manse on Market Street, which is known to have housed the first Masonic Temple in Jamaica. Both locals and visitors are invited to view and participate in what is arguably Jamaica's largest market, the "Bend-Down" Market, which is held every Wednesday. Consumers are able to purchase a wide array of items at the most competitive prices on the north coast.

The chairman for this resort area is Blaise Hart.
