Tourism Product Development Company Ltd. (TPDCo.) is seeking to identify a qualified, motivated, results oriented and qualified professional to fill the following vacancies:
Cashier:
(Roaring River, Negril, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Rio Grande)
To ensure funds collection and disbursement is centralized within the regional office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receipt is prepared and disbursed each time funds are received.
- Cheques are duly recorded in the Cheque Disbursement Book.
- All TPDCo’s valuables are locked away in the vault.
- All payment documents stamped paid and filed.
Other Responsibilities
- Custodian for the vault.
- Prepare and disburse receipt for funds received.
- Petty Cash Custodian.
- Disburse cheques.
- Stamp all payment documents paid and the date of payment.
- File payment documents on the respective files.
- Sign for and log all documents coming in the department.
- Any other tasks that are congruous with the organizational goals and objectives.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Certificate in Accounts or related fields.
- 5 CXCs including Mathematics, English Language and Accounts
- Minimum two (2) years’ working experience.
- Police Record will be required.
