Montego Bay Resort Board
Montego Bay originally called “Bahia Manteca” or Bay of Lard by the Spaniards is “the complete resort.” It is home of the famous Doctors Cave Beach which was one of the early drawing cards to this area. Home to the Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay Cruise Ship Pier, Reggae Sumfest, Rose Hall Great House, the historic Montego Bay Cultural Centre, a Jewish cemetery, the” Hip Strip”, golf at its finest and so much more. This resort includes the town of Falmouth with its rich Georgian architecture and award winning cruise pier. The resort with the largest compliment of rooms and a diverse offering from high end five star properties to affordable bungalows and a variety of attractions in close proximity, this is Montego Bay.
The Chairman of the Resort Board is veteran hotelier Mr. Evat Bloomfield. Resort Board meetings are held every 4th Thursday of the month.
