Tourism Product Development Company Ltd. (TPDCo.) is seeking to identify qualified, motivated, and results oriented professional to fill the following vacancy:


Administrative Assistant –Training Unit-



Under the supervision of the Executive Tourism Training Manager the Administrative Assistant 1, will facilitate/improve the efficiency and productivity of the department/division by providing administrative support for the training activities in Kingston region. Also, to assist with coordinating functions of the department’s training activities.




  • Compile the Week at a Glance for Region
  • Receive, record and distribute incoming correspondence
  • Compile monthly report for income received in the Kingston Region.  
  • Make photocopy of documents as required.
  • Maintain and review filing system. File all incoming correspondence in appropriate files.
  • Screen telephone calls, answer queries whenever possible, and take and relay messages.
  • Prepare certificates and distribute timely/accurately
  • Check files and other available reference material in order to obtain information required/requested by Officer/Manager/Executive Training Manager.
  • Respond intelligently/professionally to official enquiries about the company and where necessary, refer enquiries to the appropriate persons
  • Arrange meetings/programmes on supervisor’s instructions, including venues, provision refreshments and any other inputs for these meetings.
  • Record minutes of meetings, where required, typing and producing notes of these meetings and circulate.
  • Maintain and secure files and other confidential papers where                                               claims, purchase order
  • Assist with the marketing of programmes
  • Prepare training packages/folders for participants/instructors 





  • A Diploma from a recognized institution
  • At least three (2) years’ experience in a similar position
