The Tourism Product Development Company Ltd. (TPDCo.) is seeking to identify a qualified, motivated and result-oriented professional to fill the following Temporary position:
Accounting Clerk- Kingston
Under the supervision of the Accountant, the Accounts Clerk will provide assistance to the Finance Unit to ensure that matters pertaining to both internal and external customers are treated with the confidentiality and urgency required. The Accounting Clerk will ensure that all accounting activities are completed in a timely manner to meet their specified deadline. The Accounts Clerk will ensure that all assigned duties are accurately completed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare/Process of Recurrent Payments
- Preparation of Revenue Journals
- Prepare reports upon request
- Filing (payment vouchers, Journals and Invoices)
- Writing and entering of journals
- Preparation of TWC/WTS
- Preparation of Receivables Invoices
- Photocopy and collate documents as required.
- Assist the preparation of Audit Schedules
- Assist with the collation of documents relating to accounting
- Any other duties that may be assigned.

Minimum Required Education and Experience
- Certificate in Accounting, Business Studies or equivalent
- 5 CXCs inclusive of English, Mathematics and Accounting
- At least three (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
