What is the Tourism Service Excellence Programme (TSEP)?
The Tourism Service Excellence Programme (TSEP) is a project of the Tourism Product Development Company, an agency of the Ministry of Tourism. It is funded by the Tourism Enhancement Fund and aimed at recognizing and rewarding both individuals and organizations that exemplify service excellence in the Jamaican tourism sector.
The objectives of TSEP are to:
Recognize and reward tourism entities that continually train and motivate staff to achieve excellence in customer service delivery recognize individual workers who have and continue to surpass superior customer service delivery standards and select, showcase and award the best in service excellence ignite a spirit of competitiveness and to position the TSEP Award as fair, transparent, well recognized and highly coveted within the tourism industry.
The culmination of the TSEP is the conferring of the Tourism Service Excellence Award on an overall national champion in the individual category and a national champion in the organization category.
